Swimming is very important

Swimming is very important because hepes off kids in New Zealand is drowning. We need to learn how to swim in case we will be in a situation where we might drown. New Zealand has one of the worse swimming ratio in the world.

This week class 2 have been going down to the pools and having some lissen. In our lesson we have two groups and they are boys and girls. We have two intercessors that gives us lessons.

People say “swimming is for safety” but I think its for fun asswael.

guitars explanation

A guitar is a musical entertainment that makes loud sounds. The guitar has six strings that produces sounds of high notes to lower notes. On the top of the guitar we have a tuner. The tuner is were u tune the guitar if you tighten it up the sound will go higher but if you losing it the sound will go lower.

The guitar has heaps of parts on it, all the parts that I know is the tuning keys, sound hole, bridge, nut, head stock, Fret markers, bridge pins and the neck.

When you strum the guitar it goes into the sound hole and then the sound projects out. You can change the sound off the guitar by putting your hand on the freds. If you put your hands closer to the body part the sound will go high but if you put your left hand close to the end the sound will go lower.

To play the guitar if you're a right hand you have to put your left hand on the freds and strum with your right. To make a different sound you’ll have to place your left hand on a different position.

My highlights this term would have to be... Having new friends/ meeting new people and being in the Samoan group for 2014.

I have made improvements/progress in……. maths/ sports-ARL

I know this because….I do maths equations at home/ I Train  five times a week

I still need to work hard to improve my… writing/ animation movies

I know this because… I hardly write any more/ I need to be able draw better than I usually do

I am most proud of my efforts to... Try harder in writing and reading

My 3 main goals for Term 2 will be... Improving my Writing/ Drawing/

Fia Fia Reflection

Last night we had Fia Fia night. I was really excited for Fia Fia but then when the day came I had butterflies in my tummy. For the samoan boys costume was a lavalava and no T-shirt. In our dance we have the samoan haka and a Azonto dance.

Before it all started I was going around to all to stores look for something to buy. I was taking heaps of photos with people. When I was our turn to go on the stage I sow helps of people. Once I got on the stage I couldn't see anyone it was just pitch black

Six sentence story

Once upon a time there was a kid called Eric he loved fishing so badly. He onced lived in east side Syndy. He can catch fifty fish is five minute. He has a mental problem that he couldn't control. He had a mental problem because he always gets growlings from his parents. He got hearing aids so he can hear properly and then he stopped getting growlings.

Movie in the park

On Friday the 28th of March there was a movie night. The movie started at eight thirty. The movie was held at the Pt England reserve in central Auckland, Glen Innes. The movie was called ‘Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2’.

The movie was for the locals and it was free for everyone. The movie was entertaining and funny. It was for people to hang out and have fun and heaps of families were there. Last month there was a movie and it was called ‘Despicable Me’.

There were heaps of people there and most of them were students, families, neighbors, friends and Point England Students. There was an activity where you have to hit your enemy off their own platform. It was heaps of fun
